The Metro Freeroll - Free 8k!

I won the freeroll at the Metro last Tuesday for a nice 8k win. As Maverick put it best - "Nice win bro! Your ROI is infinity!!"

The first ever TRUE freeroll I have played is at the Metro and they guarantee 20K for just showing up. The game was pretty soft but is expected since there are so many first timers trying it out in a safe environment.

Of course sometimes poker can be cutthroat so I just took every advantage I could get LOL. I made it a point it give a person some pointers if he cared to listen and I made a few friends this way.

I won't go into details too much but I will say this: I think I have found the perfect strategy against soft fields. That is to say fields like the small tournaments at acf and some with a lot of newbies. I gotta try it out a bit more before I spill the beans so hope I rake in some more live tournament wins.

In that tournament I had gone in with the best hands roughly each and everytime and I was outdrawn when I had my opponent totally dominated about 3 times. Still I realized a poker theorem that Dan Harrington had said does work wonders.

Its all about the zones, reads and the all-powerful M. What do I mean? Either buy his books or wait until I've proven my theory. =)
